In the ’90s, when Chestnut has just started his acting career, he was in Atlanta for the shooting of a television movie. There, he had a friend, Tiny Lister who was pretty familiar with the city.
Morris and Tiny along with a couple of other friends went to a club in Atlanta. He recalled the day he met his wife and said while Tiny was talking about girls at the club and he saw Pam. Morris then asked Tiny “What’s up with her?” Tiny said “Nah, man, don’t waste your time. She don’t give anybody no play.”
As soon as Tiny distracted Morris off Pamela, he thought she was the woman he needed to “go holler at.”
