Big Show was born as Paul Wight II on February 8, 1972, in Aiken, South Carolina. Big Show grew humongous before he reached his teens. At the age of 12, he was 6 ft. 2 inches tall, and he weighed 220 lbs. Apparently, Big Show underwent pituitary gland surgery to inhibit his rapidly growing height.
Big Show studied at Wyman King Academy, where he played basketball and football. He later enrolled at Wichita State University, and he played basketball there too.
Big Show made his debut as a wrestler in 1995 in WCW against the legendary wrestler, Hulk Hogan. He won the match and later went on to win his first WCB World Heavyweight Championship.
